business began as a result of Richard and Cathy Yingst's vision to build well crafted, high
quality homes for Central Pennsylvania homebuyers. Over three decades later the company is
still family-owned and operated, but Yingst Homes has expanded dramatically. Here you will

The Staff
The team of over forty professionals at Yingst Homes has helped to make Central Pennsylvania's
discriminating homebuyers and builders' dreams a reality.
Yingst Homes assigns an on-site supervisor to each of its homebuilding projects. This supervisor,
along with subcontractors and suppliers carefully chosen by Yingst Homes is dedicated to
building quality-crafted, distinctive homes in award-winning developments. Our team of
professionals works together with our in-house designer/drafter to make your design
selections materialize into the quality home you have envisioned. Someone from Yingst Homes is
always available to address your concerns, provide you with feedback and incorporate your design
ideas into the home through the entire homebuilding process. The Yingst Homes' staff has true
design knowledge in the business of building homes.
Accolades
Yingst Homes is a member of the Harrisburg Builder's Association and the
National Association of Home Builders. The Central Pennsylvania homebuilder has won numerous awards over the past
several years-including the People's Choice Award at the last Home-A-Rama in 2000. Yingst Homes
is also the winner of the Fulton Bank Award for the Best Townhome at Olde Orchard Hills in 2003
and the Fulton Bank Award for the Best Custom home in 2004. The company continues to receive many
awards in the prestigious annual Parade of Homes and Pyramid awards.
